I began astrophotography in 2002, using an 8" telescope and a webcam. I now use a variety of equipment: webcams, SC modified webcam, a 1.3Mpixel lunar/solar camera, digital camera and camcorder. All these can be used with the 10" newtonian in the observatory.

Anyone with a telescope can take images through it, it is surprisingly easy to do so, though getting quality results takes a lot of time, practice and patience, but it is very rewarding when you finally achieve some decent results.
